Linux System User Guide
1. Connect Device
Please confirm that the 4G module has been installed and a supported SIM card has been inserted.
Connect the USB interface of the 4G module to the Linux motherboard, wait for about 17 seconds, and confirm that the PWR indicator is always on and the STATE indicator is flashing, indicating that the signal connection is successful.
Tested and supported Linux motherboards include: Jetson Nano, Jetson Orin NX/NANO, Jetson AGX Orin, Raspberry Pi, RDK X5. This example uses the Jetson Orin Nano motherboard.
Open the system terminal and enter the following command to check if there is a SimTech device number
lsusb

Enter the following command to check if there are 5 USB ports.
xxxxxxxxxxls /dev/ttyUSB*

2. Configure Module
Install serial port assistant software
xxxxxxxxxxsudo apt install -y cutecom
Open serial port assistant
xxxxxxxxxxsudo cutecom
Select [/dev/ttyUSB2] in [Device], then click [Settings] in the upper right corner

Configure the serial port information as shown in the figure below, baud rate is 115200, data bits 8, no parity bit, stop bit 1, click [Open] to open the serial port.

Enter [AT], select [CR/LF], then press Enter to send, if it returns OK, it means success.

Then enter [AT+CUSBPIDSWITCH=9011,1,1] to configure the internet mode, return [OK] means the setting is successful, the module will restart and enter the new mode. This configuration will be saved when power is off, no need to set it every time.

Note: If the serial port disconnects frequently, you can open another terminal and enter the following command to close the ModemManager service.
xxxxxxxxxxsudo systemctl stop ModemManager
After the configuration is complete, enter the following command to restart the ModemManager service.
xxxxxxxxxxsudo systemctl restart ModemManager
3. Dial-up Internet Access
When the system configures the 4G module as above, the connection can automatically dial up to access the Internet. Open the system settings, you can see an additional [Mobile Network] option, and the operator name is displayed on the Network, which means the dial-up is successful.

At this point, you can open the browser to access web pages.
