This document mainly explains how to switch AI recognition mode. The recognition mode needs to be configured with the WiFi mode according to the instructions in Serial Port WiFi Configuration Instructions, and then enter the web page or the mobile phone remote control app to open the screen before starting the recognition. Otherwise, there will be no output results.
The module needs to be connected to the usb-ttl module

| VCC | VCC |

Serial port configuration
Baud rate 115200, no parity, no hardware flow control, 1 stop bit
If you use the serial port assistant configuration, when sending instructions, you need to remove the automatic sending of new lines (additional bits)
As shown in the figure:

3. Configure wifi mode
| Instructions | Description | Example | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| ai_mode: | Configure AI recognition mode | ai_mode:0 | 0: Normal mode 1: Cat and dog detection 2: Face detection 3: Color recognition 4: Face recognition 5: QR code recognition |
Notes
- ai_mode must be followed by an English character such as comma (,), colon (:), period (.), etc.
- ai_mode can only set 5 modes in total. If an illegal number is passed in, the default is normal mode.
- After each mode change, the image transmission module will automatically restart. After the module restarts successfully, refresh the web page or mobile app to re-enter
- ai_mode: You can also use all-capital English AI_MODE:
- Factory firmware mode: The default is normal mode.
Virtual keys in mode
Some AI recognition modes require human-computer interaction. The module itself does not have keys, so virtual keys are simulated through the serial port protocol
| Key name | Mode | Corresponding function |
|---|---|---|
| KEY_MENU | Color recognition | Input color/detect color mode switching function |
| KEY_PLAY | Color recognition | Confirm input color/delete color function |
| KEY_UPUP | Color recognition | Increase the input/detection color range of the frame |
| KEY_DOWN | Color recognition | Reduce the input/detection color range of the frame |
| KEY_MENU | Face recognition | Save the detected face |
| KEY_PLAY | Face recognition | Identify whether the face is in the system that saves the face |
| KEY_DOWN | Face recognition | Delete the last saved face |
The function of virtual keys only works in color recognition and face recognition** modes, and other AI vision modes are invalid. **
