Demonstrates Ultralytics: Object Detection effects on images, videos, and real-time detection using Python.
1. Enable the Board's Best Performance
1.1 Enable MAX Power Mode
Enabling MAX Power Mode on the Jetson ensures all CPU and GPU cores are turned on:
sudo nvpmodel -m 2
1.2 Enable Jetson Clocks
Enabling Jetson Clocks ensures all CPU and GPU cores run at maximum frequency:
xxxxxxxxxxsudo jetson_clocks
2. Object Prediction: Image
Use yolo11n.pt to predict images that come with the ultralytics project.
Enter the code folder:
xxxxxxxxxxcd /home/jetson/ultralytics/ultralytics/yahboom_demo
Run the code:
xxxxxxxxxxpython3 01.detection_image.py
Effect Preview
The location of images output by YOLO recognition: /home/jetson/ultralytics/ultralytics/output/

Example code:
xfrom ultralytics import YOLO# Load a modelmodel = YOLO("/home/jetson/ultralytics/ultralytics/yolo11n.pt")# Run batched inference on a list of imagesresults = model("/home/jetson/ultralytics/ultralytics/assets/bus.jpg") # return a list of Results objects# Process results listfor result in results: boxes = result.boxes # Boxes object for bounding box outputs # masks = result.masks # Masks object for segmentation masks outputs # keypoints = result.keypoints # Keypoints object for pose outputs # probs = result.probs # Probs object for classification outputs # obb = result.obb # Oriented boxes object for OBB outputs result.show() # display to screen result.save(filename="/home/jetson/ultralytics/ultralytics/output/bus_output.jpg") # save to disk3. Object Prediction: Video
Use yolo11n.pt to predict a video under the ultralytics project (a video not included with ultralytics).
Enter the code folder:
xxxxxxxxxxcd /home/jetson/ultralytics/ultralytics/yahboom_demo
Run the code:
xxxxxxxxxxpython3 01.detection_video.py
