MicroPython Introduction

 

MicroPython is Python 3 programming language is a concise and efficient implementation, including the Python standard library is a subset of, and after optimization, it can be in micro-controller and restricted environments.

MicroPython is filled with advanced features such as an interactive prompt, arbitrary precision integers, closures, list of derivation, generators, exception handling, etc. Yet, it is compact enough to be in just 256k of code space and 16k of RAM to run.

MicroPython goal is as much as possible with normal Python compatible to allow you to easily move the code from the desktop to migrate to a microcontroller or embedded system.
