Connect to WiFi

Rider-pi needs to connect to WiFi by default, otherwise some functions that require network connection cannot be used normally

Connect to WiFi signal

There are many ways to connect to WiFi. You can search online for how to connect Raspberry Pi to WiFi. This tutorial only describes how to connect to WiFi using the interface on the car.

1. After the factory image is turned on, the car will stand up, and the screen of the car will display this interface, indicating that the car has been turned on and the big program has been successfully started.

2. Press the button in the upper right corner, select the sample mode, and then press the button in the lower right corner to enter the sample mode.

3. After entering the sample mode, select the function through the buttons on the upper left and right of the screen. The upper left button is for left movement, and the upper right button is for right movement.

Select wireless networking, and then press the function button in the lower right corner to enter this mode.

4. Then, open the XGOBOT mobile app and configure the wifi name and password to be connected

Note: (The wifi name must be a 2.4GHz frequency band that the phone can search for, and the name and password cannot contain Chinese characters)

5. Scan the generated QR code with the car. The car will display a successful scan. When the scan is successful, the screen will display 3s exit.
6. When the connection is successful, return to the boot interface, select the remote control mode, and the connected wifi address will be displayed. (Press the function button in the lower left corner to exit/return)
