OpenClaw is a self-hosted AI agent Gateway that connects your commonly used chat applications (such as Discord, Google Chat, iMessage, Matrix, Microsoft Teams, Signal, Slack, Telegram, WhatsApp, Zalo, etc.) to AI coding agents. You only need to run a Gateway process on your own machine, and it becomes the bridge between your messaging application and an always-online AI assistant.

2. Core Features
- Multi-channel support: A single Gateway can connect to multiple chat channels simultaneously
- Session management: Creates an independent session for each sender, keeping the context coherent
- Agent-native: Built specifically for coding agents, supporting tool use, sessions, memory, and multi-agent routing
- Self-hosted: Runs on local hardware, with your data fully under your control

3. Unique Advantages
