1. Course Content
- OpenClaw Scheduled Tasks is the task automation scheduling function of the OpenClaw platform, allowing users to create timed robot tasks
Course Objectives
- Understand the functions and application scenarios of OpenClaw Scheduled Tasks
- Master the method of creating scheduled tasks through natural language
- Master the operations of viewing, managing, and maintaining scheduled tasks
2. Introduction to OpenClaw Scheduled Tasks
- Scheduled Tasks are OpenClaw's intelligent scheduling function. Users can create scheduled tasks to have the robot automatically perform specific operations at a specified time or interval
- After creating a scheduled task, OpenClaw automatically executes the task instructions according to the set time and records a run log for each execution
3. Preparation
ros2 launch microros_v2_bringup openclaw_service.launch.py

4. Demo Cases
[!NOTE]
- Any interaction method can be used; here, the web interface interaction is used as an example
- The simplest way is to directly give OpenClaw an instruction, for example: create a scheduled task: every five minutes, move forward 0.5 meters, then observe the environment

5. Viewing and Managing Scheduled Tasks
- Open WebChat, click Scheduled Tasks to view the list of all created scheduled tasks

In the scheduled task list, the following management operations are supported:
- Enable/Disable: Control whether the scheduled task takes effect with a switch; once disabled, the task will no longer run on schedule
- Run now: Manually trigger a scheduled task once to quickly verify whether the task works properly
- Delete: Delete scheduled tasks that are no longer needed
Click a scheduled task to view and edit its details, including the task description and execution plan
In Run History, you can see the execution records of each scheduled task trigger, including execution time, execution status, and run result
